Fruit Dip Fondue
Create this fun Fruit Dip Fondue and I guarantee the kids will eat their fruit! Made with just 3 ingredients – the Fruit Dip Recipe is out-of-this-world delicious! Add fun toppings for dipping too! Perfect for game night, after-school treat, parties, holidays and more!
Fruit and Dip – it doesn’t get much better than that! After school snacks or game night treats can get boring, the typical chips and dip or popcorn is something everyone loves, but why not change it up with a Fruit Dip Fondue?
I love serving fondue at parties too. The Cupcake Fondue is always a hit. And during the Fall, you can’t beat Caramel Apple Fondue for a fun treat. However, this time I wanted to keep the fruit dip recipe on the light side.
All of the fruit I used – strawberries, pineapple, bananas and apples are readily available any time of year in your grocery store. This time I used canned pineapple, making it super easy. Be sure to remember to add a little lemon juice to the apples and bananas so they don’t brown.
Both of the Fruit Dip Recipes are made with Truvia Spoonable Natural Sweetener. To keep the fruit dip even lighter, I used light cream cheese. You can also use light whipped topping if you like.
After the fruit dip is made and the fruit is cut, it’s time to add some fun toppings. Whatever you like will work, I used sprinkles (everyone loves sprinkles), chopped nuts, mini chocolate chips and chocolate coated sunflower seeds. You can use skewers, toothpicks or plastic forks for easy dipping.
I’ve shared my love for Truvia with you many times. Some other fun treats to serve after school or during game night are the Berry Ice Cream Floats, Cherry Vanilla Fudge or Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies.

Here’s a little tip I learned from a Pampered Chef rep years ago. Instead of using lemon juice to keep your apples from turning brown, slice them and put them into a container with a lid and cover them with 7-up, Slice, Sprite or any other lemon-lime soft drink. The longer they soak, the longer they take to turn brown. This tastes much better than tart lemon juice does. I haven’t tried it with sugar-free soda but I don’t know why it wouldn’t work. I’m thinking bananas might get mushy if you left them in for more than a few minutes but I’ve never tried this method on anything other than apples.
Love the fruit fondue idea. I’m not a Truvia fan, can I use real sugar and if so, how much would the recipe call for?
Hi Lynn, the sugar would be twice the amount of Truvia, so 2 teaspoons. You can also adjust according to how sweet you like the dip.
