There’s nothing like sitting on your front porch enjoying the weather with a tall glass of fresh squeezed lemonade. Lemonade, and especially Fresh Squeezed, is one of those drinks that makes me think of easier times, when life wasn’t so busy. I remember when I was a young girl, I spent hours and hours laying on a blanket in the back yard finding shapes in the clouds.
When I told this story to my boys, they thought I was crazy. Why would you want to just lay there and look at the clouds. For me, it was a time that I spent dreaming…dreaming of the time when I would be a Mom and be able to lay on a blanket gazing up at the clouds with my children. While I did do that when my boys were very young, that time didn’t last long enough.
Some how life just gets in the way…doesn’t it?
I’m definitely a Lemonade – from a Mason Jar with fresh fruit – kind of girl. Do you know what your drink personality is? Perhaps a sophisticated drink like a martini or maybe a glass of wine that has a fruity flavor. Truvia has a fun Personality Pairings Quiz, match your personality with a drink and you could win $150.
What do you like for brunch? Who’s your recipe go-to guru? How would you spend lottery money if you won? Do you like cooking alone or with others?
