How to Make a Christmas Dessert Charcuterie Board
- Choose the Board – you can use just about any board, platter or tray you like. I like using boards or trays that have an edge around it to hold the treats in.
- Baking – after your treats are all made, it’s time to start assembling.
- Largest First – begin with the largest pieces first, then fill in by adding medium size and then the smallest. For this Christmas Board, I started by adding the bowls for the Eggnog Dip, Gingerbread Men Cookies and the slices of Jam Cake.
- Small Filler Items – it’s always easy to have some small filler items like candy canes or Christmas candy.

The Christmas Cookies are what gives a Christmas Dessert Board its warm, homemade feel. I used a mix of soft, chewy, and spiced cookies, most of them recipes already here on Hoosier Homemade.
By also adding the Jam Cake and Eggnog Dip, it gives a little variety.
