Hi I am making some caramel apple cupcakes and after tasting the cupcake I am tasting more spice cake than the apple flavor I had hoped for, I chopped a granny smith apple and incorporated that into the cake batter, Now ? is can I simply melt some Jolly Ranchers candy and poke it into the cupcake like I would jello? Any help would be great

    1. Hi Kathy, if you melt jolly ranchers they will go back to their form after they cool down, which means they would be hard. You could try applesauce, or if you want a filling, maybe apple pie filling or even caramel sauce.
Let me know if I can help any more.
