Honey Lime Fruit Salad

Our Memorial Day Cookout Food continues with this flavorful Honey Lime Fruit Salad. Adding a simple dressing made with honey and limeade, gives this traditional fruit salad a new twist. Serving this Fruit Salad in the middle of a watermelon star makes the presentation fun and festive.

Honey Lime Fruit Salad

Honey Lime Fruit Salad


  • 8 cups fruit…Watermelon, Pineapple, Strawberries, Blueberries, Kiwi, Blackberries or any other fruit that you like
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup limeade concentrate, thawed
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds {optional}
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted


  1. Cut up watermelon into triangle shapes.
  2. Cut up fruit and place in large bowl.
  3. Mix honey, limeade and poppy seeds. Pour over salad.
  4. Arrange watermelon triangles on a large plate or platter. Spoon fruit into middle of star. Drain juice is necessary.
  5. Sprinkle with toasted almonds.
