Honey Lime Fruit Salad
Our Memorial Day Cookout Food continues with this flavorful Honey Lime Fruit Salad. Adding a simple dressing made with honey and limeade, gives this traditional fruit salad a new twist. Serving this Fruit Salad in the middle of a watermelon star makes the presentation fun and festive.
Honey Lime Fruit Salad
Ingredients
- 8 cups fruit…Watermelon, Pineapple, Strawberries, Blueberries, Kiwi, Blackberries or any other fruit that you like
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup limeade concentrate, thawed
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds {optional}
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted
Instructions
- Cut up watermelon into triangle shapes.
- Cut up fruit and place in large bowl.
- Mix honey, limeade and poppy seeds. Pour over salad.
- Arrange watermelon triangles on a large plate or platter. Spoon fruit into middle of star. Drain juice is necessary.
- Sprinkle with toasted almonds.
