It’s Football Season and that means Tailgating is in full swing. Walmart has a new app on their Facebook page that I think you might enjoy.
Nice Save is a new application tab that represents Walmart’s commitment to Every Day Low Prices. Each month they help Moms solve a new challenge by connecting her with a community of Facebook fans that have tried-and-true money saving tips.
This month’s challenge is Game Day Food for under $50. What would you serve?
All of these ideas for Game Day Food can be made ahead, transport easily and are all budget friendly recipes.
- Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Footballs
- Twix Bars
- Peanut Butter Swirl Bars
- Mini Peanut Butter Cup Cupcakes
Don’t forget the treats! Football Cupcakes are always a great choice. Bar cookies are also a good choice since a single batch goes far and they also take less time to prepare. And the Mini Peanut Butter Cup Cupcakes are always a hit.
Head on over to the Nice Save application on Walmart’s Facebook page, add your ideas for Game Day Food for under $50 and check out all the other great ideas! Disclosure: This post is part of a campaign I am participating in with the Walmart Moms. Walmart has provided me with compensation for this post. My participation is voluntary and opinions, as always are my own.
Please pass along that Walmart needs to carry more organic products. They are losing out to Target, who has really up’d their selection. It’s ashame they don’t seem to be as committed as they once proclaimed.
