Halloween Treat Bags with Printable
These Halloween Treat Bags with Printable take minutes to make and yes, they are super easy. Dig into your crafting supplies, print out the FREE Halloween tags, grab a bag of mini candy bars and you are set to make these treat bags for a quick and easy Halloween gift.
I think these would be perfect for classroom treats, teacher gifts, neighbors, friends, or even family! The treat bags are really easy and with the exception of possibly 2 supplies, I bet you have everything else in your crafting stash!
To stay with the Candy Corn theme, we used scrapbook paper in white, yellow and orange. You can, of course, use whatever you have on hand or want to buy.
These treat bags are also very versatile for all occasions – we have shared them for Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and St. Patrick’s Day. They all have FREE Printables that match too!
Halloween Treat Bag Supplies
- Miniature Candy Bars – 1 bag makes 6 treat bags with 6 pieces of candy in each bag (you may have a few leftover, those are for you to nibble on while working)
- Scrapbook Paper
- Wilton Pretzel Bags
- Ribbon or Twine
- Straight Edge Cutter
- Scissors
- Tape
- Ruler
- Printable Halloween Tags
Directions:
Step 1
- Cut strips of paper 1 + 3/8 inch wide – any length is fine for now, 12 inch scrapbook paper works the best
Step 2
- Cut small pieces of tape and have them ready to go {this saved a lot of time as well}
Step 3
- Tape a piece of paper to the center of the back of the candy
Step 4
- Wrap the paper around the candy and secure with another piece of tape
Step 5
- Now it’s time to assemble the Halloween Treat Bags. I laid mine out so they would all be different.
- If you would like the Halloween tags, they are FREE
- They can also be used as Halloween Cupcake Toppers
Step 6
- Place the candy in the pretzel bags, close up with the twist tie
- Then make a hole in the tag with scissors or a hole punch, attach with twine, thread or ribbon (whatever you have on hand)
- Tie on the ribbon
How to use Printable Tags
Step 1:
After printing the tags – cut them into strips to make it easier to cut into circles
Step 2:
Use a 2 inch circle cutter – if you turn it upside down it’s easier to cut the tag centered
Step 3:
Now you are ready to punch a small hole and attach them to the bags.
You can also add a lollipop stick to these and use them as Halloween Cupcake Toppers.
