Beer and Cheese Father’s Day Cupcakes
Welcome to Cupcake Tuesday! I’m so excited you are here! Be sure to check out the ALL NEW Cupcake Heaven page! And if you are in need to a special cupcake design, use the “Be a Hero” area!
With Father’s Day this weekend, I’ve been trying to come up with a new and fun idea for Father’s Day Cupcakes. I’ve made Golf Cupcakes, Grilling Cupcakes, Cupcakes with Lawn Mowers, and several Cupcakes that look like shirts with ties, but I’ve never made one with Beer and Cheese. And let’s face it…what Dad doesn’t like Beer and Cheese with a little Bacon thrown on top!
Doug has been asking me for well over a year to make a savory cupcake with bacon, so when I spotted these cupcakes in the Better Homes & Gardens Cupcake Magazine, I thought they would be perfect for Father’s Day.
And the chocolate mustache…so fun!
Beer, Cheese and Bacon Cupcakes not Dad’s favorite? Put these Chocolate Mustaches on his favorite flavor cupcake. Let me show you how easy they are…
Chocolate Mustache Supplies
- Almond Bark or other melting chocolate
- Lollipop Sticks
- Decorator bag or plastic squeeze bottle
- Mustache pattern – Amy from MomAdvice has 3 mustache designs
- Cookie sheet to make moving them easier
- Wax Paper
- Print out the mustache pattern, and trace mustaches on the long side of white paper {that way you can add the sticks easily}
- Place wax paper on top of pattern
- Melt chocolate in microwave, fill decorator bag and pipe chocolate following the pattern
- Immediately add the stick and cover with a little more chocolate
And in case you missed the cute Father’s Day Cupcakes…

Am I missing something in the cupcake recipe? I notice grated cheese is listed between the butter and the brown sugar, but the instructions didn’t say when to use the cheese. I made these cupcakes and realized I still had the cheese left over. They tasted a bit heavy on the baking soda. I had to throw the entire batch out. So disappointed! We were all looking forward to these, but there was no way to eat them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Would still love to try these!
Hi Michelle, my apologies that you had trouble with this recipe. The cheese is stirred into the heated mixture. I have updated the recipe to make it a more clear.
Beer cheese and bacon? Sounds delicious and I love the little moustaches! I’ve just linked up my deep dark mocha cupcakes. Thanks for hosting. I’ll be back next week with another cupcake recipe 🙂
Thanks for adding your cupcakes. You might want to stop back tomorrow morning when there is a new Cupcake Tuesday posted, this post is almost a week old.
