Taco Ring and Our Menu Plan

Jump to recipe!

One of our favorite meals, and quickest is Taco Ring. I shared the recipe way back in November 2009, and after lots of interest, I decided it would be best to re-post the recipe with some new pictures.

With just 3 ingredients plus toppings, it’s not only an easy meal, but frugal too.

Taco Ring

With only three ingredients plus toppings, this Taco Ring from HoosierHomemade.com is a quick and easy dinner idea!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef, cooked and drained
  • 1 package taco seasoning {here is a good recipe to make your own}
  • 2 tubes of Crescent Rolls
  • Toppings: lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, pico de gallo, taco sauce, sour cream, Western dressing

Instructions

  1. Cook and drain ground beef.
  2. Mix with taco seasoning, like you would for regular tacos.
  3. Lay crescent rolls out on a large stone or cookie sheet, with narrow end facing out, creating a circle.
  4. Spoon taco meat onto crescent rolls.
  5. Fold over crescent roll ends, forming a circle.
  6. Bake at 375 degrees for about 20-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Serve with toppings of your choice.

Gratitude Journal:

Since the growth of Hoosier Homemade over the last year, there have been MANY times that I wanted to share with my readers how grateful I am. I have decided to add a short paragraph at the bottom of each post, sharing something I am grateful for, either personal or business related.

On Friday night, we had a terrible scare. Nick’s coach was hit in the head by a foul ball that came off the bat of the opponent and went directly into the dugout. I’m thankful today that he will be released from the hospital, and after some bed rest, will be okay. I’m thankful for the doctors who took care of him, thankful for all the prayers from my Twitter friends, but mostly thankful he will be okay.

What’s on your menu plan this week?
