Cool N’ Creamy Lime Pie

Lemon, Lime, Orange…pretty much any citrus flavor just screams Summertime to me! Especially if it’s Cool N’ Creamy!

With all the hot weather we have been having, I am trying not to heat up our kitchen. So I went on the hunt for a No-Bake Dessert.

Many moon ago, I collected the little cookbooks, you know the kind, Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, even Pampered Chef makes them. I have one that was published by Kraft in 1993,Simple Desserts Made Special with Cool Whip (Favorite All Time Recipes) found this recipe for Cool N’ Creamy Lime Pie just perfect for Summer!

Oh, I am just in the mood for something fresh and cool and limey! This will hit the spot. Another super easy pie to make is to mix a regular container of Cool Whip with 2 cartons (8 oz each) of yogurt – pick your favorite flavor! Put this in a graham cracker crust and freeze overnight. (Lemon and Raspberry are the 2 preferred yogurt flavors at our house, but choose your favorite!)

  7. I posted a lime pie recipe today, too!

My mom used to make a pie similar to this one, but instead of lime jello, she’d use strawberry jello, and it made a really yummy summer pie. I will have to try your version, too!
