Peeps Cupcakes for the Peeps Party

Who loves Peeps? Everyone right? These adorable Peeps Cupcakes are brightly colored just like the Peeps we all love, and are super easy to make.

So tell me…which Peep is your favorite? Have you seen those huge white Bunny Peeps? So cute! These Peeps Cupcakes are the perfect Easter Cupcakes! They are as fun to make as they are to eat!

You guessed it…the Peeps Cupcakes are super easy! With just 2 ingredients…frosting and mini chocolate chips…these Peeps Cupcakes come to life!

Peeps Cupcakes Supplies

Cupcakes – baked and cooled
Frosting – your favorite {I used Wilton Decorator Icing}
Coloring – your favorite Peeps colors – I used Lemon Yellow, Sky Blue and Neon Pink
Eyes – Mini Chocolate Chips
Beak and Feet – Orange coloring
Feathers “hair” – same color as Peep
Decorator Bags
Decorator Tips – Round #3 and #5

Peeps Cupcake Instructions

Frost cooled cupcake completely
Run an offset spatula under hot water and smooth frosting
Add chocolate chips, pointed side down for the eyes
Fit a decorator bag with a #3 tip and fill with orange frosting
Pipe on the beak using a small heart shape
Pipe on the feet using a long letter “M”
Fit a decorator bag with #5 tip and fill with matching frosting
Pipe on the feathers

I like to just eat the Peeps although this year I’ve seen some really cute ideas using them with cupcakes and donuts that I might like to try.
