Cupcake Tuesday ~ Graduation Cupcakes

Welcome to Cupcake Tuesday!   If you are new here, grab a cup of tea or a glass of milk and enjoy a cupcake!

I know most of your parties are done, but I still wanted to share the Graduation Cupcakes with you. They are fun and super easy, which is exactly what I needed since I was a crazy cooking lady this past weekend!

Andrew, our graduate, requested chocolate cupcakes, and he loves Reese’s Peanut Butter cups, so I combined the 2 and came up with these…(I apologize for the wonky photos, orange is just really hard to film)

I also decorated some, very simply with Chocolate Sprinkles and Wilton White Pearlized Sprinkles.

Ingredients

  • Chocolate Cupcakes
  • Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
  • Chocolate covered graham crackers (I used Keebler)
  • M&M’s in school colors
  • Matching frosting for the tassel

Instructions

  1. Unwrap Peanut Butter Cups, flip them over, put a small dab of frosting on and place the chocolate covered cracker on top.
  2. Add a tassel with frosting and a M&M or other candy with your school colors.

We had a very small party, with relatives from out of town. We will probably have another get-together for Andrew’s friends later. He was just thrilled to be graduating, as most graduates are.

I just had to share our buffet with all the desserts, I will be sharing more recipes soon.
