Welcome to Cupcake Tuesday! I’m so excited you are here! Be sure to check out the ALL NEW Cupcake Heaven page! And if you are in need to a special cupcake design, use the “Be a Hero” area!

With Father’s Day this weekend, I’ve been trying to come up with a new and fun idea for Father’s Day Cupcakes. I’ve made Golf Cupcakes, Grilling Cupcakes, Cupcakes with Lawn Mowers, and several Cupcakes that look like shirts with ties, but I’ve never made one with Beer and Cheese. And let’s face it…what Dad doesn’t like Beer and Cheese with a little Bacon thrown on top!

Doug has been asking me for well over a year to make a savory cupcake with bacon, so when I spotted these cupcakes in the Better Homes & Gardens Cupcake Magazine, I thought they would be perfect for Father’s Day.

And the chocolate mustache…so fun!

Beer, Cheese and Bacon Cupcakes not Dad’s favorite? Put these Chocolate Mustaches on his favorite flavor cupcake. Let me show you how easy they are…

Chocolate Mustache Supplies

  • Almond Bark or other melting chocolate
  • Lollipop Sticks
  • Decorator bag or plastic squeeze bottle
  • Mustache pattern – Amy from MomAdvice has 3 mustache designs
  • Cookie sheet to make moving them easier
  • Wax Paper
  1. Print out the mustache pattern, and trace mustaches on the long side of white paper {that way you can add the sticks easily}
  2. Place wax paper on top of pattern
  3. Melt chocolate in microwave, fill decorator bag and pipe chocolate following the pattern
  4. Immediately add the stick and cover with a little more chocolate

By | Cupcakes, Father's Day Cupcakes, Holidays | 10 Comments

Welcome to Cupcake Tuesday! I’m so glad to have you! I have updated the Cupcake Heaven page, there are over 100 designs and recipes! Check it out!!

Thank you to all who linked up their Cupcake creations last week. I’m sorry I haven’t been able to leave comments on some of your blogs, something is wonky with Blogger lately. But, I have been visiting and admiring all your great work!

Today we are celebrating our Father’s and all that they do! I first spotted these Golf Cupcakes in the What’s New, Cupcake? Book, of course, you all know, my favorite! And then later, during the whole month of May, as I work in my office and their calendar hangs right in front of me on the wall.

I don’t know about you, but my hubby loves his sports. He enjoys playing Golf, although he hasn’t had the time for many years. Hopefully soon. This year, we will be celebrating at a Baseball Tournament, one of his favorite things to do! We will also get a chance to see Doug’s Dad, which will be great. He lives about 4 hours away, and we only see him a few times a year.

Creating the Golf Cupcakes is easy and fun.

Cupcake Tuesday ~ Father’s Day Cupcakes

By | Cupcake Videos, Cupcakes, Father's Day Cupcakes, Holidays | 16 Comments

Welcome to Cupcake Tuesday!   If you are new here, grab a cup of tea or a glass of milk and enjoy a cupcake!

I’m sharing some of my Cupcakes today over at Attempting Creative, she is hosting a Cupcake Carnival!

In celebration of  Father’s Day, I made some fun Cupcakes to share with you.

Does your Hubby or Father enjoy Grilling? Or is he like my husband, a Landscaper and cut grass? Maybe even an Executive that has to wear a tie to work! Well, I’ve got you covered for all 3!

Here is the how-to video for you…

You will need…

Grill Master Cupcakes:

  • Tootsie Rolls
  • Yellow Starburst
  • Red Hot Tamales
  • Frosting, tinted Red, Light Brown, Dark Brown or gray

Lawn Mower Cupcakes:

  • Hershey Nuggets (or another candy, similiar size)
  • M&M’s (4 brown & 1 colored for each lawn mower)
  • Black Licorice for the handle
  • Green Frosting
  • Wilton #233 to make grass

Executive Cupcakes:

  • Fruit Stripe gum
  • Wilton white pearls
  • Frosting, white and peach colored for the neck

My inspiration for these cupcakes came from a couple sources…I first saw the grills in the Wilton Cupcake Fun book (but I changed mine), and the Lawn Mowers over at Flickr. The ties were my own inspiration.
