August Menu Plan

Jump to recipe!

Sorry for my absence last week, but what an exciting week we had. We left on Friday evening (late because of football) to play in the Ohio Valley Regional Babe Ruth Tourney, after winning the Northern Indiana State Tourney.  We traveled 4 1/2 hours and got in very late. I will share more on the tournament tomorrow, but for now, our long weekend, turned into a week long tournament. I didn’t want to jinx the team (we aren’t superstitious or anything) by having my posts ready to go, plus I was so swamped, they just didn’t get done. We returned home Wednesday evening, very tired and a bit sad with a 2nd place finish.

So, even though August is a week old, I will still post the remainder of the months meals along with this week.

During the last few weeks, while meal planning and getting groceries, I have seen the need for budget meals, specifically Aldi’s Meal Plan. I’m thinking about having a special page for the meal plan, groceries and recipes. If you have any thoughts, I’d like to hear them.

  2. Welcome back! Your menu plan looks so delicious. I am sorry you guys got 2nd place, I am sure that was a little disappointing. That taco ring looks delicious!

  3. I’ve planned out our menu for the rest of the month too – it just makes getting back to school a little easier. I love seeing the budget meals; alas, we don’t have an Aldi’s near! But I love getting the inspiration.
