The started by baking white cupcakes, with the ingredients that I always add to make them taste more like homemade. Sticks and Twine to make for cupcake toppers

First you will need to wrap the sticks, I used the Cookie Sticks and cut them in half, but you can certainly use a Lollipop Stick. Tie the twine onto one end, and wrap the stick, secure the other end with a knot.

Note: We thought about using a twig from the yard, but we weren’t crazy about it being in the cupcake. You can certainly use one if you like.

Easy to make paper leaves

Then trace the leaves and cut them out. We used the X-ACTO Decorative Shapes stencil, scrapbook paper, pencil and scissors.

Add leaves to sticks

Attach the leaves onto the sticks with Elmer’s Glue Spots.
