Halloween Party: Witch Shoe Party Favors

Jump to recipe!

We continue our Halloween Party on a Budget today with these fun Witch Shoe Party Favors! They are also just as cute as they can be sitting on the table for decoration.

When I first spotted these last year during the All-Halloween Bash when Red Couch Recipes shared them, I thought they would make a great addition to a Halloween Party or even for a classroom treat. They were originally shared on Skip To My Lou, but neither post had a tutorial, so I played around with them a bit and wanted to share the steps for you. I’m a hands on type of person, so if I see it, then it usually makes more sense.

The Witch Shoes are not difficult, but they do take a little time and patience. Let’s gather our supplies…

  • Black Cardstock {available at Walmart in the Office Supply area}
  • Scrapbook Paper {6 piece package in the Party Section for $.97 at Walmart}
  • Pattern from Skip To My LouShoe Template and Liner
  • Embellishments {I used Studio G buttons and ribbon available in the Party Section for $.97 at Walmart}
  • Glue Dots or other adhesive
  • Candy or small toys to fill Witch Shoes

First print out the patterns, cut them out and trace them onto the cardstock and scrapbook paper. Cut out the shoe and the liner.

Witch Shoe Outside:

  1. Fold in tips near toe
  2. Fold in front of heel
  3. Fold in back of heel

  1. Fold in sides
  2. Fold where the back part of the shoe meets the bottom part
  3. Fold in liner sides

  1. Using Glue Dots {trust me…these are much easier to work with than the mess of glue} attach the toe flaps
  2. Attach the heel together
  3. Lay the slant in to fit, then attach it to the sides of the shoe

Witch Shoe Liners and Embellishments:

  1. Push the liner into the shoe until it covers the tip
  2. Attach the sides with glue dots
  3. Add the embellishments with a hot glue gun

I think these will be the hit of your Halloween Party!

And in case you missed any of the fun, here’s a recap so far…
