Getting Organized – If your resolution was to get your home or life organized, break larger jobs down into smaller chunks, which will make it seem less difficult. When things look too difficult, we tend to quit them easily. Which is why it only makes more sense to keep organized by breaking things down into smaller chunks. Each and every year I say I’m going to get the house under control, and while it’s not terrible, it still isn’t where I would like it to be. The biggest issue for me is all the little stuff that I need to have on hand, but there really isn’t a good place for them. I absolutely love the craft organizing that I did earlier this year. And I love the cubes, I will definitely be using more of them this year to organize our home.

Saving Money – Keeping track of what you spend, using cash only, and utilizing apps on your phone are just a few ways you can keep yourself focused on saving money.

Eat Better – One of my favorite challenges for the New Year is trying to eat healthy. Sure, it’s easy to grab a cookie out of the cabinet and eat it. In my opinion, it takes more energy and effort to try and eat healthy. I look at it as a challenge and although sometimes I fail, it’s fun to see how much healthy food I can eat opposed to how much junk.

Setting your menu for the week or month is also a HUGE help. If you know what you are having for dinner, it not only helps you feel better by eating better, but also saves you money.

Morning Routine

Morning Routine – One of the best ways to stay on track with your New Year’s Resolutions is to set yourself up to WIN. Yes, it sounds really silly, but if you prepare your space, like using a morning routine, it helps a lot.

Getting Fit – If getting fit is on the agenda for this year (and isn’t it always?) the best ways to stick to this resolution might be keeping a schedule and writing down your plan. If writing it down won’t work for you, then get an accountability partner. No one is saying you need to be able to bench press 200 pounds, but wouldn’t it be nice to be able to walk upstairs without running out of breath?

Utilizing the Right Equipment- Whenever I have set a New Year’s resolution that has to do with exercise, the gym never worked for me. I hated getting up and going to the gym. Which is why I decided maybe I needed something at home to help me reach my exercise goals. Stay on track with health goals. and work out at home. Walmart has a wide variety of equipment at very affordable prices, from treadmills starting around $300 to complete home gyms.

Resolutions are meant to help us achieve a better year than the one we had before. Failing at resolutions is typically the norm but with these great tips, we are all sure to achieve our goals both big and small!
