Spring Inspiration Pinterest Contest
Happy Monday! I’m SUPER excited to tell about the Spring Inspiration Pinterest Contest! You all know how I’m a little addicted to Pinterest lately. Last month, I entered the ZipList Oscar Pinterest Contest and asked for your votes after making the top five finalists! Well…I won! And just like we talked about…I want to share my winnings with you!
So we have come up with this really fun contest for you…and YOU could win a $100 gift card! With all the beautiful weather we have been having, and Spring right around the corner, we thought it would be fun to get you all inspired!
UPDATE – I am currently trying to make my way through the entries. There were several entries that DID NOT follow the directions, so I need to make my way through them all and figure it out. Thank you for your patience!
Here are all the details…

- After Monday, March 26th. at 10 p.m. CST the linky will be closed and the winner will be chosen.
How do you win:
- The Board with the MOST re-pins and likes will win a $100 gift card
- Ask everyone…Facebook, Twitter, friends, family…everyone to help you win by re-pinning and liking your pins
Need a little more inspiration? Check out my Spring Inspiration Pinterest Board…but PLEASE don’t use my pins on your board. I will be looking for your creative pins.
If you happen to not have a Pinterest Account yet…leave me a comment and I’ll send you an invitation.
Have fun!! Get pinning!
I notice one contestant has removed her board.
What I meant was a contestant has re-pinned her own pins to several of her own boards to make the re-pin count go up. Has also had friends to re-pin an item to a bunch of their own boards. And it is still happening even though the contest is over.
I’m working on the boards right now Susan, it’s been very difficult to calculate as several are adding pins AFTER the contest closed. I know because the post that is being pinned is a post that went up AFTER the contest was closed.
I’m trying to keep it all fair…but it’s not turning out that way.
I’m just confused. Are you only going to look at the 1st 20 pins? I also noticed another entry had the same people re-pin to numerous boards. Does that qualify? I understand this is a first for this kind of contest. Don’t want to appear ungrateful…just need to know exactly how you will count. Thanks again for the contest. It was fun…but I tried to play fair.
I’m not sure what you mean by re-pin to numerous boards, I haven’t looked through all the boards completely yet. And yes, I will look at the first 20 pins, which is what I was going to do anyway.
Do I need to delete some pins? I’m confused now. If they aren’t all going to be counted, I would like to delete some and leave my higher pinned and liked pins. That was why I asked before I linked up my board.
Hi Susan,
Either way is fine. I haven’t had a chance to look at all the boards yet. So if you rather delete, that’s okay.

Ty 4 your time
a hug 🙂
Hi Lia,
I’m not quite sure what you mean. There needs to be a minimum of 20 pins to the Spring Inspiration Board. The Board can have more than 20, but a minimum of 20. It won’t matter if there are more than 20, the contest ONLY will be counted on the first 20 pins. I made it 20, so that it was even for everyone.
Does that help?
~Liz
I didn’t understand that. Oops. I read the first comment which stated we could have more that 20 so I pinned more than 20. And I didn’t understand that only the first 20 would be counted. If I count right, my 21st pin is my last required pin from Hoosier Homemade. Oh well. It was fun to try!
No worries Ashley! I will take that into consideration. It was a first time contest, and a learning experience for all.
Thanks for entering!

This is wonderful… I’m going to have a go, seriously addicted to Pinterest right now.
I’m also hosting a Sunday School Linky Party on my website to promote crafting/baking blogs, and so that I may have a go too! Feel free to come along and link up maybe — Love to see you (and any of your followers) there, as this blog is fabulous.

I don’t see the linky list. This sounds like fun, but I want to make sure I do it correctly.
Hi Jennifer,
You can find the linky here… http://hoosierhomemade.com/spring-inspiration-pinterest-contest-open/
It’s on a different post. Sorry I should have updated the first post.
Liz,
Congratulations on being chosen for the Zip List Oscar Pinterest Contest. You are so very
talented so it is no surprise that you won.
I do not belong to Pinterest, would love to join.
Thanks so much! I sent an invitation to you!
Enjoy!
Thanks Liz but I did not get the invitation. Could you send it again please.
I just sent another one. It comes directly from Pinterest.
