Refreshing Summer Sangria
We have two things to celebrate today…the first is this Refreshing Summer Sangria made the Gallo Moscato Wine and the second…it’s National Moscato Day!
So tell me…are you a wine lover? Do you like white, red, maybe pink? Or how about it mixed into a fruit Sangria?
Sangria is definitely my favorite!
This refreshing Summer Sangria is light, fruity and delicious, dangerously delicious. With the Summer heat approaching, I’m sure you are going to add this recipe to your must try list! It’s perfect for parties too, serve the Sangria from a carafe or even a punch bowl. And did you see that cool wine cork trivet? My good friend Jean made it for me, I love it!
The Sangria goes together in minutes with Gallo Moscato Wine, Orange Juice, Lemonade and Limeade Concentrate thawed, Club Soda and to brighten it up and give it more flavor, oranges, lemons and limes.
There are a number of different ways to make Sangria, but this recipe is my favorite. It’s doesn’t have a strong alcohol taste and fruit blends so well with the wine.
Moscato is a table wine bursting with delicious flavors of peach, honey and ripe citrus in a delightfully light-bodied style. It can be paired with many different dishes…the citrus flavors are a great match for soft or hard cheeses like Brie or Pecorino Romano. Its honey sweetness also offers a wonderful balance to spicy dishes. The light-bodied flavor makes a wonderful addition to rich desserts and adds delicious layers to fruit based baked goods.
