Oreo Brownies

Jump to recipe!

Before we get started enjoying some Oreo Brownies, I have a bit of exciting news. I know you all love Pinterest as much as I do. Well, my Oscar Party Food Board was chosen by Ziplist as one of the Top 5! So if you have a second, I’d love your help with repinning and liking my board entries! Oh…and by the way…even if you aren’t hosting an Oscar Party, there are some yummy recipes on the board! And if I win the contest, we might just have to celebrate! Now…let’s make some Oreo Brownies!

Earlier this month when I shared the Better Than Brownies recipe, I knew there would be many more delicious brownie recipe variations in the future. The only good thing about being sick in bed, is the chance to watch lots of cooking shows. So, last weekend, while I spent my time in bed or on the couch, instead of baking, I caught a glimpse of an Oreo Brownie, and knew right away I had to create some to share {and eat}!

Using the same recipe as before, with only 3 ingredients for the brownies…these HAVE to be the easiest, best brownies ever! Although they are perfectly delicious with just the brownies, I know you will want to add the crushed Oreos and fluffy frosting to the top!

The frosting is also only 3 ingredients…Cool Whip, Marshmallow Fluff and Oreo cookies, and adds an extra flavor and texture to the Oreo Brownies, without being too sweet and overpowering them.

  • 2 cups milk
  • Oreo cookies, broken into small pieces {about 10 cookies}

  3. On a stove top, combine the milk and pudding mix, cook until slightly thickened
  4. In a large bowl, add the cake mix

  6. Spread brownies into pan and press down with your fingers {be careful it might be hot}
  7. Sprinkle with Oreo cookies
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
  9. Frosting
  10. In a large bowl, combine thawed Cool Whip and Marshmallow Fluff
  11. With a large whisk, whip frosting until fluffy
  12. Fold in crushed Oreos
  13. After the brownies are cool, cut into squares, frost and add Oreos if desired

  1. I made them & they turned out just like cake. I used a double chocolate cake mix but I was disappointed to find that it was not at all like a brownie.

    1. Hi Christyn,
      I’m sorry you didn’t like them, we all loved them. They are cakey, but we thought better than a brownie.

  2. Looks yummy! Do these need to be refrigerated because of the frosting or will it keep at room temp?
