Easy Fourth of July Cupcakes: Red, White and Blue
Make these easy Fourth of July Cupcakes for your holiday celebration. They are festive red, white and blue with a FREE Printable 4th of July Cupcake Topper.
Are you ready for a really fun 4th of July Cupcake? Whether you are celebrating with family or hosting a big party, everyone will love these cupcakes! Like always, they are easy to make, but look impressive. And the Printable Fourth of July Cupcake Toppers make them even more fun!
For the Fourth of July Cupcakes we started with a white cake mix, dividing the batter into 3 equal portions then colored 2 portions, red and blue. Then layering the batter to create festive Red, White & Blue Cupcakes.
The frosting I used this time is Wilton Decorator Icing piped on with star tip #1M and a few sprinkles on top. You can also use Buttercream Frosting if you rather.
Then it’s time to add the Cupcake Topper. You can print them from your home computer or save them to a flashdrive and take them to an office supply store to have them printed, this is how we do it.

I love your ideas… thank you for the free printables. One question, how do you get the cupcake toppers to be round or “star” shape ((like in the picture) ? Thanks so much! Jennifer – [email protected]
Hi Jennifer, for the circles, I use a 2 inch round hole punch. For the stars on this one, I used a die cut machine. You can also use a cookie cutter, trace it onto paper and cut them out by hand.
Happy Baking!
