Today…is my turn! And I’m sharing these yummy little Caramel Apple Pops!
I’m sure by now, you have heard of Bakerella! Well, if not, she creates the most amazing Cake Pops ever!! Of course, mine look nothing like hers, but I think they are kinda cute!
And…in case you didn’t know…she has a new book out! And I’m giving one away to one LUCKY reader!!
But first, let me share the recipe for these Caramel Apple Pops…
Caramel Apple Pops
Homemade Caramel Apple Pops recipe from HoosierHomemade.com
Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/3 cups oil
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 3 cups apples, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup nuts, chopped, optional
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Measure dry ingredients into a measuring cup and set aside.
- In large bowl, combine oil, sugar and eggs, mix well until all combined and lemon yellow in color.
- Gradually add dry ingredients, just until combined.
- Fold in apples and nuts (if desired), then add vanilla.
- Add batter to mini muffin tins, about 1 tablespoon each.
- You can either use paper liners or generously spray pan with cooking spray. I did both, and they both worked fine. Using the liners was a little easier, and the cupcakes didn’t spread as much.
- This recipe is actually a cake recipe, made mostly in a Bundt pan, I simply baked it in mini muffin tins. It’s very good, and would make a very moist Fall cake as well.
Assembly
- You will need lollipop sticks, candy melts (small amount) and Caramel Sauce.
- After the cupcakes have cooled, melt chocolate and cover the end (about 1/2 inch) of stick, tap off excess and put into bottom of cupcake, place on wax paper until set.
- In the meantime, make Caramel Sauce, I used the same recipe I shared for the Caramel Apple S’Mores .
- Let the sauce cool about 10 minutes, then dip the cupcake into the caramel and place back onto wax paper.
- Let them set about 10 minutes, then enjoy!
Aren’t you excited for a chance to win? I might just have to buy myself one too!

Now it’s time to share those yummy Autumn recipes, I can hardly wait…I think I better eat breakfast first before I look though.
I love everything about fall…the crisp cool air, the smell of campfires, walking in crunchy leaves, all pumpkin treats…
Camping with my husband. Nothing is better than a fire, a tent and cuddles with my husband on a cold night!
OMG. I would DIE for this book!
My favorite part of autumn….. decorating, festive baking, the smell of leaves! yummmm!
This is amazzzing!! I have your cupcake subscription… love it!
The weather!! I love it SO much when it starts to cool off! adventuresinsavings(at)gmail(dot)com
My favorite part of autumn: the colored leaves, smell of a fireplace burner while wrapped in my favorite blanket with a cup of hot chocolate in hand.
My favorite part of Autumn is the leaves falling and the kids playing OH and pumpkin seeds!
My favorite thing about Autumn are all the ways to make caramel apple treats: as treats on a stick, in cakes, cupcakes or bars!! YUMMY.
(I’m already a subscriber to your cupcake newsletter!)
My favorite part of Autumn is the oooler weather. We love to go to the pumpkin patch and pick out our fall pumpkins and gourds. There is nothing like a hayride then a weenie roast and smores afterwards.
Apples!! Love Bakerella, have been eyeing that book since forever!
My favorite part of autumn is decorating! I do a Fall theme so it can stay up until Thanksgiving – adding just a couple of Halloween items in Oct. and then some Thanksgiving things in November! Kind of the “lazy” way of decorating!
Just love it all. It would be fun to have a quick reference at your fingertips.
I love all the wonderful cupcake ideas.
Why I love autumn. The leaves changing, comfortable cooler weather to walk all the fall festivals. It is apple season and all the wonderful things that are made. About 50 miles away is a fantastic apple and pork festival and craft fairs start popping up. Pumpkins, Pumpkin patches and children trick or treating. My daughter is now grown but I really enjoy the kids getting excited about dressing up and the high school homecomings with the parades, football games and the girls and boys getting dressed up for the dance. All mothers bring in pictures and it is great to ohh and ahh over the kids.
I just love your site. I am getting ready to take early retirement at the end of November. It is going to be so hard not to make something every day. Dieting (hubby and I have to) is going to be so hard. Maybe I should make some, leave a couple at home and take the rest to the doctor’s office – lol! Thank you for all the great ideas!
