Cupcake Tuesday

Welcome to Cupcake Tuesday! I have been baking for Cupcake Tuesday for several months now, and decided it was high time to make the day a party for everyone, so I have added this new meme (carnival/theme).

Guidelines for entering your link

1. Please link your post about cupcakes or muffins. I appreciate you linking your post, but please keep it on topic.
2. Please link directly to your post, not to your homepage.
3. Add your name and subject to Linky like: HoosierHomemade (Party Cupcakes)
4. Please include a link back to HoosierHomemade in your post. You may link to HoosierHomemade main page or the Cupcake Tuesday category page.
5. It would be great if you could use the Cupcake Tuesday button, but you don’t have to.
6. I reserve the Cupcake Tuesday carnival, please do not duplicate.
7. I usually have Linky up and ready by 10 p.m. Central time on Monday.
8. Please follow the guidelines, or I might just have to delete your link.

The Cupcake Challenge will be a lot like the very popular Food Network show, Cupcake Wars.

Here are some details…

• Beginning August 3rd  and finishing August 31st, every Tuesday during Cupcake Tuesday
• Theme – Summertime Fun
•  Each week will be a new Challenge, they are listed below
• You will link up your Cupcake Challenge entry in a seperate linky
• There will be PRIZES! Of course, GREAT Prizes!
• AND, Alan the author of What’s New, Cupcake? book will be the judge

Challenges:

August 3rd ~ Flavor: What flavor screams Summertime Fun to you? Create a cupcake with that flavor, write a post with the recipe, add pictures and share them!

August 10th ~ Event/Activities: Did you visit the zoo or maybe go to the beach this Summer? Create a cupcake that shows the fun you had this Summer, write a post, add pictures and share!

August 17th ~ Cake Mix: Turn an ordinary cake mix into a special cupcake. Create a special flavor using a cake mix, post the recipe, add pictures and share!

August 24th ~ Candy: It’s all about Candy this week! Create a cupcake, using the Summertime Fun theme, using candy as decorations. Write a post, add pictures and share!

August 31st ~ It’s a Wrap: This is wrap up week! Write a post showing all 4 cupcakes that you have created.

Guidelines:

• You HAVE to include the Cupcake Challenge button or a link back to Hoosier Homemade or you will NOT be considered in the judging process
• You may add your Cupcakes to the Linky beginning Monday evenings, you may ALSO add them to the Cupcake Tuesday Linky. But they have to be on the Cupcake Challenge Linky to be eligible for prizes.
• Winners will be chosen during the week following the close of the event, September 6th.
• Winners will be notified the week of September 13th.
• Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery of prizes
