Southwest Layered Dip: Picnic Food

We continue our Picnic Food series today with this yummy Southwest Layered Dip.  Adding the ingredients you like, makes this dip even more flavorful. Serving it up in a jar makes for a fun presentation.

Super easy, yet full of flavor - pack this Southwest Layered Dip for your next picnic! Recipe from HoosierHomemade.com.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 can black beans
  • 1 container Pico de Gallo…we like Marketside available at Walmart in the produce section
  • 1/4 – 1/2 cup Colby Jack cheese, shredded {depending on the size of jar you are filling}
  • 1/2 – 1 cup sour cream {depending on the size of jar you are filling}
  • Fresh Cilantro {optional}

Instructions

  1. Begin by layering refried beans in the bottom of jar.
  2. Layer on other ingredients.
  3. Finish with cilantro if desired.
