Southwest Layered Dip: Picnic Food
We continue our Picnic Food series today with this yummy Southwest Layered Dip. Adding the ingredients you like, makes this dip even more flavorful. Serving it up in a jar makes for a fun presentation.
Southwest Layered Dip
Super easy, yet full of flavor - pack this Southwest Layered Dip for your next picnic! Recipe from HoosierHomemade.com.
Ingredients
- 1 can refried beans
- 1 can black beans
- 1 container Pico de Gallo…we like Marketside available at Walmart in the produce section
- 1/4 – 1/2 cup Colby Jack cheese, shredded {depending on the size of jar you are filling}
- 1/2 – 1 cup sour cream {depending on the size of jar you are filling}
- Fresh Cilantro {optional}
Instructions
- Begin by layering refried beans in the bottom of jar.
- Layer on other ingredients.
- Finish with cilantro if desired.

This site looks like SO MUCH FUN!! I can hardly wait for my friend to get her internet working. She has an in-home daycare that I help her with and I have already spotted so many things that would be perfect to try with the little ones!!
