Quick and Easy Broccoli with Holland House Vinegar
Quick and easy dinners are a must in our house during the Summer. But, sometimes keeping it healthy is a challenge. Last night we enjoyed a healthy, quick and easy dinner.
Teriyaki Chicken and Broccoli
Holland House carries a wide variety of wines and vinegars for Everyday Cooking. I marinated the chicken in World Harbor Teriyaki Sauce {recipe soon} and while Doug was grilling it up on our new grill, I prepared the Broccoli.
Quick and Easy Broccoli with Holland House Vinegar
Ingredients
- 2 to 4 cups broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup oil {extra virgin olive}
- 1/4 cup Holland House White Wine Vinegar
- 2 tablespoons chopped Italian parsley
- 2 tablespoons chopped basil
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 small clove garlic, minced
Instructions
- Cut broccoli and wash.
- Steam in microwave or on the stove top with a few tablespoons water.
- In a measuring cup, whisk together dressing ingredients until sugar and salt are dissolved.
- Drain broccoli and place in bowl.
- Drizzle with desired amount of dressing.

I love vinegar & basil, so this might be a way for me to eat more broccoli! My favorite quick and easy side dish is corn-on-the-cob with herb butters, like cilantro lime! Also couscous is a super quick and easy favorite around here.
