Prepare your Outdoor Space for Summer

Ahh…Summer…relaxing in the backyard, enjoying a picnic at the beach or even a potluck for Fourth of July! While all of those things are fun, there is always preparation that goes into those days.

According to a recent Procter & Gamble (P&G) survey, only 25 percent of consumers clean their grills and only 20 percent of consumers clean their outdoor furniture.  Have you cleaned and prepared your outdoor area yet?

We received Mr. Clean Outdoor Spray, Mr. Clean Outdoor Pro Magic Eraser and Bounty, all available at The Home Depot, your one-stop shop for purchasing P&G products, so I put Doug to work on cleaning up the coolers and getting them ready for our upcoming Fourth of July Celebration.

Whether your cooler has been sitting in the garage all Winter, or you have just arrived home from a weekend at the campground, they can get pretty dirty.

You can see ours looks pretty bad, not only on the outside, but the inside as well.

Doug started with the Mr. Clean Outdoor Pro Spray, and while it cleaned the cooler pretty well, he still needed something to get into the cracks.

He went right to work with the Mr. Clean Outdoor Pro Magic Eraser, and it worked wonders…
