By using what you have around your home to decorate with not only keeps your expenses down, it’s also really fun. Every Christmas I choose a color scheme and then hunt through all my decorations, including the non-holiday pieces, to find unique ways to decorate our home.

The metal containers are filled with fresh greens that I cut from the trees in back of our home, then added lights. And I continued that theme in the window boxes as well.
