Apparel Tool for Back to School Shopping

School is right around the corner and back to school shopping is sneaking up on us. Love it or hate it…we have to go shopping with and for our children. Walmart has a cool new Apparel Tool to help you with your Back to School Shopping, and it allows you to build a closet full of clothing, mix and match the items and create special outfits right online before you even hit the store.

Casey will be heading into High School in less than 3 weeks, so we sat down and did a little virtual shopping and added 10 items to his closet spending only $121.

Want to make your own virtual closet? It’s fun and easy! First, head on over to the Back to School Mix and Match Apparel Tool on Walmart.com, from there you can create a closet and choose a name, the age of your child and what your budget will be. Then start adding clothing and accessories that you and your child like.

You can choose from brands like Fruit of the Loom, Danskin, L.E.I, Starter, Wrangler and more. After you have several items in your closet, then you can start mixing and matching the items to build a variety of outfits.

After choosing some of the items that Casey wanted, we headed to Walmart and bought a couple outfits. The one he is wearing is similar to this one in his closet, shorts from Starter that were $12 {and reversible} and the T-shirt was only $4.

And lastly, you can look at other closets to get inspiration, and then share your own closet on Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest. Casey enjoyed browsing around and choosing items to add to his closet and I enjoyed have a budget and being able to show him exactly what the items were going to cost.
