It’s that time again, time for another adorable cupcake topper designed by The Paper Cupcake! Just in time for Halloween, Charlotte has designed some vintage looking toppers that are perfect for any age.
Charlotte used some inspiration from The Graphics Fairy to create these Halloween Cupcake Toppers for you! These adorable Cupcake Toppers are available FREE to all Cupcake Chronicles Newsletter subscribers {details below}.
I used my favorite Chocolate Cupcake Recipe and frosted them with purple icing. Starting with a cake mix {you know I love to do that} and then adding a few extra ingredients like pudding and sour cream, makes these chocolate cupcakes super moist and flavorful.

Chocolate Cupcakes
Moist and flavorful chocolate cupcake. Recipe from HoosierHomemade.com
Ingredients
- 1 chocolate cake mix - Devil's Food or Chocolate
- 1 small box instant chocolate pudding
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup oil
- 4 eggs, room temp
- 1/2 cup water, warm
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and add cupcake liners to pan
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients until smooth - batter will be slightly thick
- Divide batter into cupcake liners adding until 2/3 full
- Bake for 17-22 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
- Cool completely and frost

This recipe can also be used for a cake or mini cupcakes.
