Orange Creamsicle Cupcakes in a Jar
There are hundreds of ways to bake and display cupcakes, but one of my favorites is in a jar. They are perfect to serve at a luncheon, or dinner party, to give as a gift or simply make an ordinary cupcake look impressive.
These Orange Creamsicle Cupcakes in a Jar are not only delicious, they are easy to make! With Spring Desserts and Memorial Day on everyone’s mind, these cupcakes are a must have!
Stay tuned for a delicious giveaway brought to you by Pillsbury Baking, but first let’s get baking!
Let me show you how to create this beautiful and delicious treat…
Starting with the new Pillsbury seasonal flavor Orangesicle Cake Mix, I added my usual ingredients to make it taste more like homemade.
Then the zest of 1 large orange to give it a little more flavor.
The frosting is also from the new Pillsbury seasonal flavors, Orangesicle and it’s mixed with a little whipped topping.
Any glass jar will work, I like the half pint size, they hold 1 cupcake perfectly. After the cupcakes are cooled, use a serrated knife and cut into thirds. Fit a decorator bag with a large round tip and fill with Orangesicle frosting. Layer the cupcake and frosting, finishing with the frosting and topping it off with a candy orange slice.
Tie the jars with a pretty ribbon and you have a delicious treat for a special occasion or to simply make any day special!
Celebrate Every Day with these tips…
- Dress up an ordinary store bought cookie or cake with fresh fruit, it goes together in minutes.
- Pack up lunch or dinner and take it to the park. Enjoy the fresh Spring air.
- Slice oranges, lemons and limes into a pitcher of water for a fresh drink.
