Simple to make Thanksgiving Table Decorations

We will be sharing more on the Homemade Table Decorations soon. You can grab the free printable Thanksgiving cards and then let’s start on the Thanksgiving Centerpiece.

Thanksgiving Table Decoration Supplies

First, let’s gather our supplies. You can certainly use whatever you have on hand, or buy some new pieces to build the centerpiece in.

Simple Thanksgiving Table Decoration Supplies

  • Round Placemat – from Better Homes and Gardens collection at Walmart
  • Dinner Plate Charger – from the same line, and it’s only $3
  • Ceramic Pumpkin – again from the same line
  • Gourds and Pumpkins – found in produce at Walmart, they are mixed in a net bag
  • Pears, Pomegranate, whatever fruit you like
  • Fresh Cranberries
  • Nuts – in the shell
  • Feathers and Silk Berries

Layer dishes for a simple Thanksgiving table centerpiece

First, layer the pieces. I love the contrast in colors, but also the different textures are great too. I found all of these pieces in the Fall seasonal aisle at Walmart. The Antique Copper-Finish Dinner Plate Charger also has a matching serving tray, which would make a nice table centerpiece as well.

Then add the fruit. I like using different colors. I found several different colors of pears, I was hoping they would all fit, but they didn’t.

Add silk berries and feathers to the centerpiece

Now fill in the empty spaces with the silk berries and feathers.

Add nuts and cranberries around the base of the centerpiece

And finally add the nuts and cranberries around the base of the pumpkin.

And you are done. It’s that simple, and gorgeous I might add.
