Simple Thanksgiving Table Decoration
Creating a beautiful centerpiece doesn’t need to take hours or cost a lot of money. You can make this simple Thanksgiving Table Decoration in under 15 minutes.
Just like the free printable Thanksgiving cards, you can make your Thanksgiving table look gorgeous without spending a lot of time or money. Just by thinking outside the box a little, and looking around the store, you can come up with many different ideas on how to build your table decoration.
We will be sharing more on the Homemade Table Decorations soon. You can grab the free printable Thanksgiving cards and then let’s start on the Thanksgiving Centerpiece.
First, let’s gather our supplies. You can certainly use whatever you have on hand, or buy some new pieces to build the centerpiece in.
Simple Thanksgiving Table Decoration Supplies
- Round Placemat – from Better Homes and Gardens collection at Walmart
- Dinner Plate Charger – from the same line, and it’s only $3
- Ceramic Pumpkin – again from the same line
- Gourds and Pumpkins – found in produce at Walmart, they are mixed in a net bag
- Pears, Pomegranate, whatever fruit you like
- Fresh Cranberries
- Nuts – in the shell
- Feathers and Silk Berries
First, layer the pieces. I love the contrast in colors, but also the different textures are great too. I found all of these pieces in the Fall seasonal aisle at Walmart. The Antique Copper-Finish Dinner Plate Charger also has a matching serving tray, which would make a nice table centerpiece as well.
Then add the fruit. I like using different colors. I found several different colors of pears, I was hoping they would all fit, but they didn’t.
Now fill in the empty spaces with the silk berries and feathers.
And finally add the nuts and cranberries around the base of the pumpkin.
And you are done. It’s that simple, and gorgeous I might add.
Now it’s time to set the table and get ready for the guests.

I love the beautiful simplicity of this – I think I have all the things I would need to make one like this, EXCEPT that white pumpkin, which I just have to have!
Thanks for stopping by Brandie! That’s the great thing about this arrangement, you can use whatever you have on hand. But I do love the white pumpkin.
