Halloween Cupcakes – Cupcake Tuesday
Welcome to another week of Cupcake Tuesday! Our family has always enjoyed Halloween. We decorate, cook crazy food and go Trick-or-Treating. We live in a very busy part of town and I will need to get about 15 bags of candy to pass out. I have already gotten 5, at CVS and by using my Extra Care Bucks, they were Free. Yeah!
Yesterday we had a fun day decorating cupcakes and made caramel apples (I will share those later).
I started with just plain chocolate and vanilla cupcakes. For the vanilla, I used the recipe that has become a quick favorite, from Cooking During Stolen Moments. And for the chocolate cupcakes, I used a relatively new recipe (2nd time) from Martha Stewart, One Bowl Chocolate Cupcakes. For more Cupcake recipes, hop on over to my Cupcake Heaven page.
Now, on to the Halloween decorations. I bought a variety of candy, mixed up the frosting and let the boys and their girlfriends use their creativity. They did a much better job than I could have.

Aren’t the decorations on the pictures cute? I had fun doing them over at Picnik.com.
Now it’s your turn! Please share your cupcake or muffin recipe! For the guidelines, you can visit Cupcake Tuesday. Be sure to link back to this post and visit some (or all) of the other participants.

Your scary cupcakes are just so cute. I am sharing an oldie but a goodie – blueberry banana muffins. It’s funny going back in the blog archives that existed long before anyone knew I had a blog. It really made me grateful for the progress of my blog. I’m still a little blog, but WOW have I grown. And I forgot about these…might have to whip up a batch soon. Thanks so much for hosting, Liz.
