Friday Favorites~Thanksgiving Leftovers
What’s the next best thing to Thanksgiving Dinner, and sharing it with family and friends? The leftovers of course!
Monica from Daily Dwelling is my co-host for Friday Favorites. But, this week we are changing it up a little. I’m writing this post for both of us. You see, we are all very excited that Monica and her family are returning to the United States! They live in Germany, while her husband is stationed there with the Army. So, we decided since she is swamped with moving (I can’t even imagine) we would just combine our Friday Favorites.
One of the leftover dishes that I have made over the years, is Turkey Divan.

(picture from All Recipes.com)
Ingredients:
- 2 c. Turkey, cut into bite size pieces
- 2 c. broccoli, cut into bite size pieces
- 1 can of Cream of Celery Soup
- 1 c. Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- 1/2 c. Milk
- Leftover stuffing
Directions:
Place Turkey and Broccoli in a casserole dish. Mix soup, milk and cheese, pour over turkey, top with stuffing. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until bubbling.

The Turkey Divan sounds so yummy! I wonder if it would work with cornbread dressing instead of stuffing? I’m from the South, you know!!

@Erin @ Closing Time, I’m sure it would Erin. I’ve even made StoveTop and added that.
Thanks for visiting!

One of our favorites is tortilla soup, a very quick and easy soup, which I make with turkey (or chicken), salsa, veggies on hand, etc. The best part is the fried corn tortilla crunchies that you sprinkle on top.
I made sure I had salsa just so I could make this soup. We all love it!
Turkey Divan is one of our faves, too. Mr. GFE just had Turkey Tetrazzini at a cousin’s house on Tuesday as they celebrated Thanksgiving the previous weekend.
Thanks, Liz … another cool roundup to participate in!

It’s very good soup. We’ll be having it for dinner this evening.
So sorry about that … can you delete the previous one that doesn’t work in MckLinky? And, I can add it again?
Thanks,
Shirley
