Cupcake Tuesday ~ Valentine Cupcakes

First, I apoligize for getting Cupcake Tuesday up later than normal. I drove home from Nashville, Tennesse yesterday, arriving home around 6 p.m. and I needed to get caught up with my family after being gone several days for the Blissdom Conference (I’ll be sharing pictures soon)

Valentine’s Day, what could be sweeter than some yummy cupcakes?

I made these cupcakes for a party at my son’s girlfriend’s house. She doesn’t like chocolate (I know, I know) so I wanted to bake some that she would enjoy.

I baked Strawberry cake (used a box mix, shame on me) and frosted with Buttercream frosting. And I also baked some Strawberry Poke Cupcakes and frosted with Strawberry Buttercream with Strawberry preserves mixed in.

For the decorating I used some of the gummis I received from  Albanese Confectionery Company, remember, they gave me gummis to share with my fellow bloggers at Blissdom. They make lots of yummy Valentine candy, I used the red heart gummis, cherry jelly hearts and red gummi bears.

Some other yummy Valentine cupcakes I made are the Raspberry Cordial and the Red Velvet.
