Wilton Visit and Giveaway

Last week I had the honor of visiting my favorite cake and cupcake supplier…Wilton! Even though it was a short trip, just 2 hours away, it was jam packed with fun and learning!

I was in extremely good company with some of the most amazing food bloggers…

Glorious Treats, Stacie from Cupcakes Take The Cake, Mommy Hates Cooking, Cakespy, Baking Bites, Coconut and Lime and Nosh With Me, just to name a few. We learned from the best…

And we saw some pretty cool cakes…

I tried my hand with fondant, for the first time…

Then, along with my team members, Glory from Glorious Treats and Carrie from Fields of Cakes, we had a little contest to try our skills at what we learned.

And we won!! Best Overall Technique!

There were other awards too…

for these amazing cakes!

We visited the local Wilton store where they hold the Master Cake Decorating Class. I was in heaven with all the cool supplies…

And for course, the ever popular Wilton Tent Sale…

where I grabbed a BIG basket full of supplies!
