Bread Machine Cinnamon Rolls

Description

Delicious Cinnamon Rolls using a Bread Machine


Ingredients

Rolls

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups flour, all-purpose
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons dry milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons yeast

Filling

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted to spread over dough
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped finely

Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 teaspoons milk

Instructions

  1. Add ingredients to bread machine according to manufacturer’s suggested order and set on dough cycle. {It should take about 1 hour + 20 minutes}
  2. After the dough is done in the bread machine {recipe below} turn it out onto a well floured surface
  3. Add flour and knead until dough is not sticky
  4. Dough is ready to roll
  5. Roll out dough, being careful not to push too hard, form a rectangle
  6. Brush with melted butter
  7. Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture and then chopped pecans
  8. Roll up dough
  9. Using a serrated knife, score the log into equal parts and then slice
  10. Place in a buttered 13×9 pan, cover with a towel and let rise for 45-60 minutes
  11. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15-18 minutes or until lightly golden brown
  12. Combine powdered sugar with milk, whisk and spoon over Cinnamon Rolls
  13. Serve warm
