Watergate Salad

[ 10 ] November 9, 2009 | CupcakeLady

This salad is more like a dessert, as far as I’m concerned.  I have been wanting to make this salad for a long time, I had a great reason this past Sunday when we had a few friends over for my son’s birthday dinner.

This salad is quick, easy and can be made the night before you need to serve it. It would make a great addition to your Thanksgiving meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 c. Mini Marshmallows
  • 1 pkg (4 oz) Pistaschio Flavor Instant Pudding
  • 1 can Crushed Pineapple, undrained (I drained it out of habit and the salad was a little dry)
  • 1/2 c. Pecans, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. Whipped Topping, thawed

Directions:

Combine marshmallows, dry pudding mix, pineapple and nuts in a large bowl. Fold in whipped topping. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.

Yum! I love this salad!
