The never ending laundry pile – do you have one in your home too? For us, and probably for you too, the laundry seems to multiply. It all starts with just a sock or two and before you turn around twice, there is a huge pile to tackle.

With help from Tide, Maytag and The Home Depot, we are tackling the laundry pile! According to Jenny Komenda and her Laundry Room Redesign Tips – “A rolling laundry butler can be your best friend, doing triple duty with a hanging bar, a rolling basket and a drying rack.”

We took the rolling laundry butler a step further and created an organizing station that holds laundry baskets and a place on top to hold soap, stain remover and dryer sheets and created a Mobile Laundry Station.

  1. My laundry tip is bins for each member of the family – makes sorting and putting clothes away much easier!

  2. Amanda Sakovitz says:

I always make sure the clothes are all not inside out. I tend to just take off my clothes and throw them in the laundry basket and they are always inside out. I think it definitely effects how clean they get!

  3. My favorite laundry tip is to add borax and vinegar to the wash. Everything is so much softer.

  4. Separate those darks and whites!!

  5. My best laundry tip is to keep bins in the laundry room so you can sort the laundry by colors.

  6. Jessie C. says:

My tip is to add Lavender oil to linens rinse cycle for fresh scent.

  7. If towels smell musty add white vinegar to the rinse

  8. My best laundry tip is do at least one load start to finish…washed and put away every day, You can of course do more, but one load a day keeps it from becoming monumental.

  9. Tammy Lacer says:

I like to keep a basket on my dryer to hold hangers, clothespins & tennis balls…the tennis balls work great in the dryer with comforters & pillows & allow them to come out fluffy!

  10. I use salt every time i was darks, that way the colors wont fade out

  11. Always fold & hang right away !

  12. Domanique says:

I try to stay on top of laundry and get it all done in one day, and the minute something gets hit with a stain i hit it with oxi clean and let it sit in the dirty clothes basket till it’s time to wash

  13. Christina Z says:

I dont have any unique laundry tips just that I always try to sort clothes and stay on top of it so it does not get out of hand. I also sometimes use baking soda just tad bit to clean out washer

  14. Brandy Saunders says:

We have a family of 5 so we break up laundry days to only Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Makes the piles more manageable!
