The Best of Baking 2010

Jump to recipe!

If you are around here any amount of time, you will quickly learn that I LOVE to bake. I would bake all day…every day…if I could!

Now…if I just didn’t have to do the dishes…

It was fun looking back at all I baked this year. It makes me realize just what else I haven’t and need to share with you.

Desserts…

Pies…

Cookies…

No Bake…

Muffins…

I feel so blessed to be able to share my Baking with you all! Two of my personal highlights this year were my Baking with Betty trip to the Betty Crocker Kitchens and the Holiday Bake-Off sponsored by I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter.

Here are a few of the goodies that we made at Betty Crocker…

The Holiday Bake-Off was in New York City, I had a blast traveling there too!

I made my Twix Bars, I didn’t win, but that’s okay, I had a great time!

What is your favorite thing to bake?

  1. I made the Twix bars a couple weeks ago, they were so good! My kids loved them! I subbed the peanut butter with soynut butter due to allergies and they were delicious!

  2. I am on your email list and I love coming to your blog. Coming here is like going to the bakery when I was a little girl and pressing my nose against the window pane and saying ohhhh look at that…Thank you for being my corner bakery! Best wishes and a very Happy New Year!

  3. So many goodies you have shown us but the all time favorite for my family was the Pumpkin Muffins. These are very easy to make but most of all I love baking casseroles – nothing sweet 😉

  4. Oh. My. HEAVENS!!! *drool* I think I maybe in love with you! Your Chocolate Candy Cane pie made me want to tell you that next winter or this if your still into candy canes minus the Christmas tree! Betty Crocker has this recipe for a Candy Cane Cake. I TOTALLY intended on blogging it, IF it had turned out like the Betty Crocker pic. Mine ended up looking like it got took a tumble down a mountain! BUT it was SOOOOOO delicious! You have to try it if you haven’t. YOU just might get it to look like it should if not better!!!

  5. wow that’s a whole lot of baking! Great recap 🙂

(love love love the easter bonnets!!)

  6. I love baking too! I love Apple Pie but it takes a lot of work! Then again doing no-bake items are fun too!
