Cupcake Tuesday~Team Spirit Cupcakes

Cupcake Tuesday 3

I’m sure, like many of you, our lives are filled with Football right now. My middle son plays on the High School team, and either a college or pro game is on the T.V. most of the time.

During our 4th of July celebration, I made red, white and blue cupcakes. They were so fun, I couldn’t wait until school started so I could make orange and black cupcakes. Our High School colors are orange and black, which usually is difficult to find, but during Halloween, I try to stock up a little.

I started with white cupcakes and tinted the batter orange and also used chocolate batter.

You could very easily make the batter any color you need, for your school or even favorite college or pro team.

Filling each liner with a small amount of each batter, creates the multi-colored cupcake

Now, for the real fun, decorating…

These orange and black candies that I found are perfect for our team colors, and yes, I know they are bats and pumpkins, but they’re High School Football players, they eat just about anything :)

Some of the cupcakes, I decorated with candy

And some I decorated like a Football Field, just add the green frosting for the grass, a yellow goalpost and a chocolate foil wrapped football for decoration.
