Time is a wasting…St. Patrick’s Day is almost here! How about a super easy, last minute St. Patrick’s Day Treat? Made with 1 ingredient and a couple simple supplies, these Shamrock Pops are perfect for classroom treats, gifts for friends or neighbors or a treat for the kiddos! And they have an adorable FREE St. Patrick’s Day Printable too!

Did you know that Wilton makes a new flavored candy melt? Yep…Key Lime! They also have two more new flavors; Orange Creme and Raspberry Sherbet, that I found and can hardly wait to create with also!

To make the Shamrock Pops all you need are the Wilton Shamrock Lollipop Mold, Candy Melts and Lollipop Sticks. {full instructions below}

After the Pops were set up, I drizzled some with melted chocolate.

Some were dipped in green candy melts with a sprinkle of white Jimmies.

St. Patrick’s Day Treat: Shamrock Pops

St. Patrick’s Day Treat: Shamrock Pops

Yield: 1 bag of candy melts yield about 15 pops
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes

Quick and easy St. Patrick's Day Treat. Recipe from HoosierHomemade.com

Ingredients

  • 1 bag each of Wilton candy melts; green, white and key lime
  • Wilton Shamrock Lollipop Mold
  • Lollipop sticks

Instructions

  1. Melt about 1/3 of the bag of candy melts in a microwave safe bowl, heating 30 seconds, stirring and then 5-10 seconds, stirring after each
  2. Tip: stop when there is a few pieces left, then stir to melt
  3. Place a resealable bag in a glass, making it easier to fill the bag.
  4. Pour melted chocolate into bag, snip off a tiny amount on one corner
  5. Fill the lollipop mold with chocolate
  6. Tap on counter to release air bubbles
  7. Add the lollipop stick and turn to coat
  8. Place in freezer for 5-10 minutes
  9. Remove from freezer and pop out of mold

Notes

Total time includes freezing time. Variations: Swirled - melt white and green candy, place white candy on paper plate, add green candy using 3to1 ratio - 3 parts white candy to 1 part green. Swirl with a toothpick and spoon into mold, tap to release air bubbles and add stick.
Melt chocolate and lightly drizzle over Shamrock Pop. Melt green candy, dip Shamrock Pop into green and sprinkle with white Jimmies.
