At the beginning of the new year, many people {including myself} take a hard look at our budgets and how we spend money. Melissa and Shelley from Stockpiling Moms have a new book, Savvy Saving, that will help us with just that!
One of the things that I’ve wanted to learn how to do for quite a few years is stockpile. There is an art to it you know? After Christmas, Doug and I organized our pantry and did a major shopping trip. It feels so good to be able to head to a well stocked pantry. But it would be even better if we had a big stockpile to rely on.
In the Savvy Saving book, Stockpiling Moms cover items like couponing, storage, budgeting, shopping strategies, and of course stockpiling, to name a few. There is also a chapter on Monthly Menu Planning, and a mention of Pocket Change Gourmet! YAY! We are in a book!! Thanks girls!
Everything you will need to know to help get started saving money and living within a budget is in this well put together book. And now you can win a copy of your own!

Coupons, coupons, coupons!
My tip for couponing would be to keep doing it. You get better and better each time.
My tip is to combine coupons with sales!
Tips on stockpiling: know your price point on item so you know when it is a good deal. Another tip, when you buy one item go ahead and buy two and if you do this every time and rotate item, you will see your stockpile grow!
Combine sales and coupons!
