Recipe Swap ~ Lasagne

Today I’m sharing with you another family favorite, Lasagne.  You will find lots of great recipes over at the Ultimate Recipe Swap.

Lasagne

1 lb. Hamburger                                                      2 c. Cottage Cheese

1 Onion, Medium, chopped                                1/4 c. Parmesan Cheese

1 Garlic Clove, pressed                                         1 T. Parsley Flakes

1 can Tomato Sauce, 15 oz.                                 1 1/2 t. Oregano

1 can Tomatoes, Diced, 16 oz.                           1 1/2 t. Salt

1 t. Sugar                                                                    2 c. Mozzarella Cheese

2 T. Parsely Flakes

1 t. Basil

1/2 t. Salt

Brown Hamburger, onion and garlic.  Stir in remaining ingredients for sauce (first column).  Simmer until consistency of spaghetti sauce.

Cook noodles, meanwhile mix Cottage and Parmesan Cheeses, Parsely, Oregano and Salt.  Layer noodles in 13×9 pan, top with sauce, cottage cheese mixture and mozzarella cheese.  Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese on top.

Bake uncovered for 45-50 min at 350

Let rest 5 minutes or so before serving.  Enjoy!

    Adding the diced tomatoes is a nice touch ~ more texture. It sounds like a great dish.
    You never have to cook your noodles first, though. Add 1 1/2 cups of water to the recipe, poured all around the edges, cover with foil and add about 30 more minutes to the cook time.
