Honestly, the best gift I received after baby was a nap, when friends would come to visit and take over baby-snuggle duty for a bit, lol. But the best tangible gift I received had to be my first baby carrier. I may not have thought to babywear on my own.

Hard to say what the best gift we received was because each of our 4 kids had special things. Homemade gifts were usually the favorites!

I had a c-section so I was still in the operating room during his first bath etc. A friend took pictures of the whole thing. While I was nursing and officially meeting my clean baby she went tk a 1-hour photo and had all the pictures printed and put in to a photo album.

The best gift I received was a months worth of meals! While we were in the hosoital, my mother in law was busy cooking meals at our house. She freezed them, so every night for dinner we just had to take something out and heat it up. So nice!
