My New Design

Hoosier Homemade - Making Your House a Home

I’m so excited to share my new design with you. It was many months in the making, but it’s finally up, as you know.

First, I need to give all the credit to my wonderful designer, Brianna, from Mad Hatter Design and Media, she has worked and worked to make Hoosier Homemade better for my readers. And Kimberly, from Virtual Office Resources, is helping Brianna make things run smoothly.

Let’s start at the top…right under the header you will find the pages, and then you will see all the categories, click on one that interests you, and it will show you all the posts in that category.

In the big block picture, I have some new featured posts, you can click the Read More to see the full post.

Then in each category, Cupcake Tuesday, Baking, Cooking, Decorating, Reviews and Giveaways, you will find the 3 newest posts. You can also click the More button in the top right corner to see more posts in that category.

Another new, cool feature are the Social buttons, at the bottom of each post. You can Stumble, Tweet or add to del.icio.us, among many.

I also have the new Social Icon buttons in the top right sidebar, if you would like to follow me on Twitter, join my BlogFrog Community (isn’t that frog cute?) or join Stumble. My Facebook fan page is still in the works…coming soon though.

If you aren’t a subscriber, I’d LOVE for you to join me!

A little ad, to help pay for the new design, then my BlogFrog Community and the Recent Visitors.

A few more of My Favorites, then my new buttons. Please feel free to grab one for your blog, I’d be just thrilled if you did.

At the bottom, in the footer, you will find, some of the blogs that I love, my Archives and my Popular Posts.

Now, with all that, let me say, we are still working on some things. The Mixing Spoons page will be all new and much easier for you to find the yummy recipes you need. And the About page will be getting a facelift too.

Before I leave and let you search around the new design, I wanted to mention my header, which is actually the header I had before, Joy, designed it for me.
