My kids have loved the Elf on the Shelf tradition since it began in our home in 2009. They have loved waking up every morning to see what crazy mischief Bernard the Elf has gotten into. Aren’t those elves adorable? I love that they are doing kind and generous things for others. That’s a great lesson to teach our children during this season, especially when kids can sometimes be consumed with the ideas of what they are going to get come Christmas morning.
