January Menu Plan – 2011

Happy New Year! Did you enjoy your Holiday? We had a great Christmas and fun New Year’s Eve!

I’m looking forward to getting back on a schedule, planning some meals, and hopefully getting some meal prep done ahead of time. Several months ago, I planned a whole week of meals from the Make Ahead Meals for Busy Moms Cookbook, shared the grocery list and the recipes.

It was lots of work, but it was so nice to be able to just quickly heat up or finish the meals each night. I’m going to try real hard to get some meals prepped ahead of time.

Do you love to serve wine and cheese? Do you often wonder which cheese goes well with a certain wine? Well, look no further than the new mobile app from Real California Cheese.

Here’s how it works:
Download the Pair Savvy app to your mobile device, it’s FREE, and you can select by cheese, wine or beer. If you don’t have a compatible mobile device, you can still use the Pair Savvy site to find savvy pairings.

Some pairings even suggest fruit accompaniments, which is great when putting together a cheese plate, maybe for your upcoming Super Bowl Party!
